Ann Ehringhaus has been exhibiting her photography in the Southeast since 1978. Galleries include Durham Arts Council, The Light Factory,
SECCA, East Carolina University, Horace Williams House, Nexus, The NC Maritime Museum and many more. Her work is in a variety of permanent collections. For ten years she worked as a traveling Artist in the Schools throughout North Carolina. She is the author and photographer of Ocracoke Portrait, published by John F. Blair. Her photography has also been used in a variety of coastal books and music cd’s.

Ann owns and operates Oscar’s House Bed and Breakfast on Ocracoke Island, where she lives most of the year. In winter months she lives in Carrboro,NC.  Ann has been practicing energy medicine for the last eighteen years. She is a Reiki Teaching Master, and certified practitioner of Chinese Acupressure and Rosen Method Emotional Bodywork. In 2006 she received her Doctor in Ministry, after studying with Matthew Fox in Oakland, California, at the University of Creation Spirituality.

I’m happy to be part of this fundraiser for our earth. Kitty’s artwork
emphasized natural forms that celebrated our bodies, as well as Earth’s
body. I will always be inspired by Kitty’s love of laughter, her willingness

to say or do the unexpected, and her living example of how exciting life can still be after 80.
